Transfer 5 week 1 Madrid Suburbs- Leganes
New Companion: Kea Robertson from Washingston state

Sorry...
So we found out on thursday of last week that we would be going to the temple on Wednesday, so that's I coulden't email until today, becuse they moved our P-Day...

Okay so my first weeks and a half in my new area has been awesome!
LUNES:
So I got here, and we went bowling. I bowled a 167... So That was surprising. So now everyone thinks im this amazing bowler, which is a LIE!
MARTES:
So we went and did some pass-bys, and then went home and ate. Then we had planned on going to english class, but the Elders called us and said that they had two lessons set up at the same time, and the wondered if we could go and teach this lady in a Pueblo for them. We said yes, and then took the Metro to Villa Verde, and then took a bus to the pueblo. So we didn't know where it was, or where she lived, so we called the Elders, and they told us to go on Bus 412. So that is the bus that we took, which let me tell ya.... WAS THE WRONG BUS. So we ended up like 45 minutes out of our area, until a bus headed to Madrid came back, and picked us up. Needless to say, we did not mak it to the lesson, but it was fun though. Then we met with James and his family. His name is james, but it is pronounced like hummus. Like the dip... Columbians.
MIERCOLES:
So we were going to have district meeting, but it got moved to Thursday. So instead, we went an taught our recent convert, Jose Antonio. He is spanish, and a little... Strange. But he is really cool. So after that, we went and met withthe Relief society prez, named miriam. So like half of our ward is from peru, one third from ecuador, and the other third is a mix. Then we ate with Kenny, nd his dad and bro. Kenny is the sundayschool teacher. We did the "Flan Suck Challenge".  I failed the first time, and so they made me do it again. Man, that was rough. The only thing worst than one flan, is 2.
JUEVES:
So we had district meeting. I got to meet everybody. Hermana Robertson made some bomb brownies, with marshmallows. Then we visited Elouisa, who is just a flower. She is this super old spanish lady who got baptized like 6 months ago. Crazy... I know. So we talked with her for a little while, and then she gave us some pate to eat. Then we just contacted and handed out LDM'S for a few hours.
VIERNES:
So we went and helped out a foodbank for basically the whole day. After we left, we had correlacion with our Mission Leader Alejandro. IT was awesome. There is a lot of potential in Leganes, but we definitly need to change some things before we can get to that. But I am excited to get to work. So after we left correlation, the elders went home, and realized that they left both sets of keys to thier piso inside. So the called the owner, and he didndt answer thm, so they called us and asked for keys to the capilla, and blanket, and had to sleep the capilla. Que verguenza...
SABADO:
So we went by the Capilla to help some of the youth decorate for a missionary homecoming party that the ward was having on Sunday. So we did that, then did comp study there. Then we had medio- dia, and made PB&J's, with realy PB from home. It was so good. Then we had Drink's with Pame (Pamela) and the elders, for elder stout's B-day. Then we did Pass-bys.
DOMINGO:
So we had stake conference, and were able to listen to the leaders of the stake, and wards which was awesome. They are almost all spanish, which is way cool. Then we had our studies and medio dia, and then we had the homecoming party for Jason, the missionary who just got home. He served in Barcelona. They had doritos, so it was a party.
LUNES:
So It was wierd changing my P-day.. But we went and met with a future investgator that I contacted last week, and we passed by his house and chatted with him a little. He is from vnezuela, and has two little twin boys who are PRECIOUS. He almost got baptized, but then had to move becuse he was a baseball player. He is amazing... So were pretty physched to meet with him. Then we did a bunch of pass-bys.
MARTES:
So we did more pass-bys, then went to a place called Dealz, which is from the UK. Its amazing. THey have Dr. Pepper, and real PB, and other cool american stuff, all for 1.50. I know, God answers prayers. Then we taught Elouisa again. This time we got cola-cao, and digestive cookies. It's getting better. Then we met with mirtha, and some return missionaries that were from Chile, but who served in argentina, and peru. It was way cool to talk with them and see how there missions were so diffrent then mine. Crazy. So we made some cookies, and notes and gave then to the eleders, and they gave us donuts, and poems. THey are awesome.
So that was the week. It has been awesome and im sure it will only get better. Also a cool quote that i got from our stake conference was this: "No one will have truly amazing spiritual experiences doing only what is required, but all that is possible."
Well I hope that you all have amazing weeks and, "Do aweomse!!"
