Transfer 3 Week 4 Leon

Hello family,

Because were all gods children, and were all part of one family:)

So this week was money. We had monday but we left for Acoruna on tuesday, and got back on Thursday. I'm still not sure which one it is. Coruna I mean. So I will tell you where it is. So Spain is about the size of Texas🏳(Ma o meno)(That' s how dominican's say mas o menos). So lets say that I am in Austin. So La coruna is about where abilene is. A little far. So we took a train from Leon to Lugo, and then a bus from Lugo to La Acoruna. The train ride was about 4 and 1/2 hours. We Played uno with the elders the whole way there. Then the whole way back we played scum, which is just a card game where you move chairs. It was awesome becuase the train is set up kind of like and airplane with rows like that so to play scum you have to move chairs if you win or lose, so We would get up every 5-10 minutes to "stretch" and change chairs.

MARTES:

So we passed by Maria-Dolores on our wy to the train station, and visisted her for a minute, and then we passed by sandras store, and she is doing good as well, Then we boarded the train. It was fun. If anyone was wondering, we lost 8-10.. Cutrisimo (Super lame). Then we llegared (arrived) to lugo. Oh i forgot to tell you. We saw an amazing Miracle. So we had to trans-board, which just means half-way thru the trip we had to switch trains. So we were half way there, and were worried about missing our other train because our first train left like almost 1 hour late. So we got off the train, to trns-board, and as we stepped off our first train, our second train left. So the trains go really fast here, and so it was like way far away but the Lady working there called the conductor, and told him to come back and get us. So this giant train full of people backed-up just to pick us up. It was way cool. So we stayed the night in Lugo, with the hermanas there, and took a bus the next moring at 6:30a.m. to La coruna.

MIERCOLES:

So we had Zone conference with both zones, so with every missionary in the north of spain, except a tiny piece of galicia that belongs to the Barcelona mission. It was cool. The santiago, and Leon zones togehter. Oh man, and La A Coruna has a giant, brand new Capilla (chapel) Which was pretty cool. So in ZC we talked a lot About faith, and obedience, and how with out these two thing we are like jenga when you take out a crucial piece. You fall down (Spoiler alert) (ugh, I'm so sorry that I said that; I hate people who say Spoiler alert, but it seemed apropriate.) Oh and i got some super cute letters "THanks a mountain." Oh, i got my Mission debit card, so now my sweet sweet companion doesn't have to buy all the food for both of us. So the hermanas from lugo had t stay in Coruna for two days after the conference so they gave us the keys to there piso, and wished us luck. So we took the bus, and wondered around lugo looking for their street for like an hour and a half but then we found it. It took a lot of prayers and a lot of a life saving app called Mapsme. So as we were wondering around, lost, we found this super sweet lady named Rocio, which was cool. So we were able to leave  refrence for the hermanas de Lugo.

JUEVES:

So back on the train. We bought empanada for the ride, and my Comp is obsessed with Dorito's, so we had those as well. They are TEX-MEX flavored. They don't taste very texan but I won't complain. So then we played skum and won 10-9... Victory tastes so muh better than Dorito's. Then we got back to Leon, and contacted  mountain of people, but didn't find anyone. That's okay though. So then We had choclate and churros to clebrate being back home, which we super tasty. And we had a really great lesson with Lesly, who is th one who live half the month here, and hal the month in Norway. It is going really well with her, and she alwyas gives us Cookies, and Coca cola when we go over!

VIERNES:

Well we planned, then we had correlacion with pedro and finalized the plans for the christmas party. Then we had medio-dia, and ate seriously like a box of KIWIS. So kiwi's are y favorite fruit right now, and they are really cheap here, so every monday  buy a box of kiwi's, like 25 or 30, and eat them throughout the week. So instead of real food, we ate the whole box of kiwi's. It was awesome, but now I have a giant canker sore on my tongue. Pero bueno. Then we passed by Rosavla. She is a memeber who is going through some hard times right now, so we are trying to meet with her. We passed by her house but she wasn't home, but then we ran into her in the street and talked for like 20 minutes which as awesome. Then we had Noche de Rama, and Angel, our elders qurom presdient gave us all some turron, which i like this superhrd candy with a bunch of almond in it. It's super good but really hard to chew.

SABADO:

So today we made christmas invitation for the party, which turned out pretty cute. I Should be more crafty, but it's not really my strong suit. Then we went out and walked around. Then for medio-dia i made mashed potaotes which turned out marvillously. Then we passed by and had a lesson with norberto because nalda wasn't home. Then thalia, and then english class. It is always super fun to go to english class, because I can make super funny jokes usig spanish and english, and they get it. They all think I'm Hilariuos which is of course a lie, but... I won't tell them.

DOMINGO:

SO today Kalifa got baptized... He is the amigo of the Elders, and is from Mali. He is super cool, and it was awesome watching him get baptized. So we recieved a Church refrence which never happens. So this refrence that we recieved is from this guy named jose, who is investagting lot's of churches and requested a BOM, and missionary lessons. Talk about golden, Right? So we called him and set up an appointment for tuesday! I am so excited.   Then we had a lesson with Joel and Lorena who own a kiosko. It was fun. Then we helped decorate he christmas tree with the familia Rivera, and ate cake.

LUNES:

Well we just hung out in the piso today. We went shopping and bought o much food. Kiwi's of course. Then we made pizza from scratch which surprisingly tuned oout amazing! And now we writing you guys.We might go get icecream or something later... Not sure, but next monday could be my last P-Day in Leon because we have transfers the day after christmas, and then i would go to my new area on that monday, so If i stay i'm totally god with that, but if i go, I'm good with that also.

Anyhow, well i love you guys sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Much and  hope that you have a great week!!!
