Well... What can I say about this week? 

So this week has been amazing. I know i always say that, but It's just who I am! But seriously though.. We taught the most lessons that I have ever taught in a week, this week. We Found a new invetagatos named raul. We are teaching the most prepared family that I have ever met. They seriously are GOLDEN.  We are teaching a super sweet bolivian lady named Roxana who also knows the church is true, but is just a little scaed to take the leap of baptism, because she wants her whole family to join with her, but we are working with her on setting a baptismal date. That is the "DL," of the people that we are currently teaching who could be baptized relatively quick. 

I saw that they came out with the new Red Iphone... That is exciting. Oh!!! I found out today, that in the mall here, Parque Sur, they will put in a 5 guys! So I am so waiting for that. Now, all they need here is a Whataburger and a Chic-fil-a and then I will be content. 

LUNES:

So my companion and I were still sick, but because it was our last P-day as a district before transfers, we decided to have a district P-day with Leganes, Parla, and Fuenlabrada. So we all went to this park in our area that is kind of like really super far away called Parque Polvoranca. I mean, its cool and all, but just so far... Walking... I mean I walk al day, so the last thing I want to do on P-day is go hiking! But we went and it was super fun. We played volleybol, uno, and frisbee. We made salads. Then, I was doing fine but my compnion was dragging. She was like sweting, and had a fever. She almost threw up on the way home. It was gross. So then we went home. I made her some soup, and she drank some agua and hit the sack. Then I called Hermana Pack, and asked her how to fix jarman... She told me to put her on the BRAT diet. That is Hna Pack's answer for everything.  If you don't knoe, the BRAT diet is Banana, Rice, Apple sauce, and Toast. Everyhing we didn't have. So In the end I found some rice and made that for her. The BRAT diet does not work. 

MARTES:

So all of Tuesday my companion was sick. We were so bored. Being a missionary and being sick sucks really bad, because you just want to leave and do stuff, and even if you can't leave there is nothing to do at the apartment. We ended up playing some hide and go seek. It was fun, but there is only some many places to hide in our piso. Then we watched the best 2 years, 6 times. More rice... 

MIERCOLES:

Well, my companion woke me up at like 6 in the morning, crying. So I woke up and figured that someone had died or something, but she told me that she had been having really really sharp pains in her heart and then when she had had them for a few hours she started to freak out, thinking that she was having a heart attack. So she woke me up, and i gave her some tylenol, and we called the elders and they came over and gave her  blessing. So we called Hna pack yet again. I told her that my companion was dying, and asked her what to do. She prescribed the BRAT diet... Cureall. But then she said that there had been bug going around, and heart pain was a symptom and stuff so... Then we had a lesson with the lopez family. The golden one with David, Yisena, Alejandro, and Eric. Even though my companion was still sick, she toughed it out and we went and taught them. It was an amzing lesson. We sharde the pln of salvation with them and they Flipped! 

JUEVES:

So we had District meeting. It was amazing, nd we talked a lot about how important it is to go to church, or how important it is to help our friends come to church. So ater that, we went back the piso, and studid, and cleaned like nobody's buisness. We swept, mopped, washed, and cried. The reason that we cleaned so extremely is becuse the owner of our piso called us and told us that they are trying to sell it, and that because of that they will start to show it to people. So we cleaned. So the realtor, and sme young couple came and looked at it thursday night. It was wierd but nice that the piso is so clean. We had 15 bags of trash. 15! It was so much better. 

VIERNES:

Okay. So there is this awesome family that just moved into the ward fresh from peru... I mean FOB. So we went and visited them with the elders, and pesented them the family plan. It was super fun to talk to them, and play with their kids. Although, the spanish tha they speak is super diffrent from what people here speak. People in south America speak Spanish, but here we speak Castellano, which is considered a diffrent language. They use diffrent words, sayings, jokes, and they manner in which they speak. It is so diffrent. The ward that I am serving in right now is 90% South american, mainly from Peru and Ecuador, but all of them have lived in spain for over 10 years and have lost their strong accents, and now speak using vosotros, and use spanish words instead of many latin american words. So, it was crazy to hear legit peruvian slang words, and fresh off the boat peruvians.. Although of all the food that I have ever eaten on my mission. The best food is Peruvian.. It is always amazing. After them we did some studies, and then had English class. It was fun. This memeber named Jorgito came just to talk...In spanish. He really just loves the missionaries, and he has lots of friends in english class. Then we went to the Garcia Famliy. Then made us a pancake feast! It was sups good. 

SABADO:

So Normally on Saturdys we play futbol with the ward, and the young Chavali's (Young Teenagers)... But, unfortuanately it was raining, and cold again so no one came. Except Jorgito... So we just sat akwardly with him talking, and waiting for other people to com and play, but no one did. For some reason I felt like we should just stay a little longer... So we stayed, jorgito left nd we were studying, when al of the sudden this guy named Raul, who we hae been trying to teach shows up, and jorgito comes in and says, "Let's teach him, I will help Y'all." So we were like, "YES!!!"  So we taught him the plan of salvacion! It was money. Then, we studied and then went and taught this lady named Maria. We shared the family plan with her, and she loved it. She said she has been waiting for someone to help her set goals like this. So that was fun. Then we went and taught this sweet bolivian named Roxana. So her daughter is a memeber named carla. Roxana has been investgating the church for like a yer. She knows it is true but just has a bit of fear to make the change due to family issues. We are helping her right now to think of a baptismal date. It should be good. 

DOMINGO:

So we had church. It was really good. Also this memeber walked up to me right before sacrament and gave me some papars and said, "Could you translate this for me?" I was like, "Okay, but why me?" Then he walked away. So I translated it, and I felt very flatter that he thought I could speak spanish , and english well enough to translate stuff. It was cool. Then we did studies. Then we went and taught the lopez family of gold agin. We talked about baptism and invited them to think pray and search for an answer to whether or not they should be baptized. It was a really powerful lesson. Money...

LUNES:

TOday were just kicking it. Were at the mall, but today is a holiday in spain, so everything is closed.. But the apple store has the best WIFI.. 

This is what I translated. It is a dedicatory prayer that opened up spain for the preaching of the gospel in 1969... 

O Dios, nuestro Padre Eterno, venimos ante Tí esta mañana aquí, en este cerró,   mirando la hermosa ciudad de Madrid y el país circundante. Como tú sabes, estamos aquí reunidos en un servicio dedicatorio. Estamos aquí por mandato de Tu profeta, sus consejeros y el Concilio De los Doce.  Por haber sido autorizados para dedicar esta tierra y la gente en ella para el oído y la enseñanza del evangelio restaurado de Jesucristo.

Mientras estamos aquí, Padre, le rogamos que esté con nosotros. Deje que tú Santo espíritu descienda sobre nosotros. Perdone Nosotros de nuestras transgresiones y ayúdanos a ser puros y limpios delante de ti y dejar que tu Espíritu Santo  nos guía en lo que decimos. Estamos agradecidos por estar aquí. 

Estamos agradecidos por la restauración del evangelio. Estamos agradecidos de haber sido hechos partícipes de los mismos y que hemos tenido el privilegio de venir a esta gran tierra en este momento para participar en este santo servicio dedicatorio.  Padre, en La autoridad del santo sacerdocio y del apostolado, dedicamos ahora esta tierra de España y el pueblo que allí habita, para la predicación del evangelio de Jesucristo, que ha sido restaurado en estos últimos días para la salvación de los hombres. Todos los hombres.

Nos quedamos aquí y dedicamos esta tierra a la autoridad del sacerdocio, recordamos que Tú, en el pasado, has estado consciente de este país. Recordamos que casi 400 años antes de que naciera el Salvador, Tu mostraste a Néfi una vision en que Tú, con  tiempo se mueve sobre un hombre que vive en este país para emprender un viaje exploratorio y descubrir la tierra de América, en la que Tú restaurarás el evangelio en esta dispensación de la plenitud de los tiempos. Recordemos, también, que el apóstol Pablo, se dice, visitó esta tierra en los días de la iglesia apostólica. 

Recordamos que en 1492 Colón salió de esta tierra, siendo movido por el Espíritu, como habías predicho que lo sería, y salió sobre los poderosos mares y descubrió América, en la que se estableció un gobierno libre donde el evangelio Podría ser y fue restaurado.

Y ahora te damos gracias porque Tú, por el poder del Espíritu Santo que obra en los hombres, hizo posible que el evangelio fuese enseñado aquí. Estamos agradecidos por la ley que ha sido aprobada recientemente y que garantiza las libertades de la religión. Que nos permiten enseñar al pueblo de esta nación el evangelio. 

Rogamos que bendigas a este pueblo, para que se abran sus mentes, para que el velo de las tinieblas,  las tinieblas espirituales que han prevalecido aquí, pueda ser penetrado y roto, y que la luz De la verdad puede brillar en los corazones de la gente.

Oramos para que aquellos que vienen aquí para enseñar el evangelio, comenzando ahora bajo la administración del presidente Griffin, estén llenos del espíritu del evangelio. Bendicelos para que sean sabios; Para que sean guiados por Ti en cómo se acercan a este pueblo, para que enseñen el Evangelio, oh Padre, con el poder del Espíritu y lleguen al corazón de muchas almas. Bendice a las buenas personas que están aquí muchos de ellos en este círculo para que puedan vivir el evangelio, para que sus luces brillen, para que el pueblo vea sus buenas obras y glorifique a Ti, y sea llevado a recibir el evangelio de Jesucristo y Estar en el camino a la vida eterna. Bendice a los nativos, hermano Oliveira y otros, para que sean líderes de su propio pueblo. Para que los justos puedan ser reunidos y que aquí se establezcan en esta tierra, en un futuro no muy lejano, barrios y estacas para el fortalecimiento de Tu reino y la salvación de Tu pueblo a esta tierra. 

Roguemos por el liderazgo de esta nación para que progrese en permitir las libertades al pueblo, para que se les permita buscar y encontrar la luz y el poder en Tu gran iglesia. Ahora Padre, al te damos gracias aquí esta mañana, en esta tierra muy separada de la sede de la iglesia, recordamos Tu profeta que está envejeciendo, como los hombres cuentan años, incluso el Presidente McKay.  Esté con él, dé le salud y fuerza , Y envíe la paz en su ser y las líneas de comunicación entre él y Ti sean siempre abiertas, para que él dirija los asuntos de Tu reino en la tierra en los caminos por los cuales podemos mejor prepararnos para la venida del Salvador en el no Un futuro muy lejano.

Apresúrate ese día, Padre Celestial, cuando la paz habite en los corazones de los hombres como resultado de aceptar el evangelio. Inspíralos a nacer de nuevo y ser hombres de justicia que la maldad y la contienda, el dolor y la angustia puedan apartarse de la tierra , Bendice a todas las personas en todo el mundo, porque todos son tuyos, Padre Celestial. Ayúdanos a predicar las buenas nuevas del evangelio en todas las naciones hasta que venga el Hijo del Hombre y la paz reine en la tierra.

Dejamos aquí ahora sobre esta tierra y la gente en ella una bendición apostólica para que sus almas puedan ser Iluminados con el sol de la fe y de la paz, para que puedan contemplar la luz que conduce a la vida eterna. Todo esto lo hacemos, estas gracias damos, estas bendiciones que pronunciamos, esta dedicación que hacemos, en la autoridad del santo sacerdocio y en El nombre de Jesucristo, nuestro Redentor, Amén
