Transfer 7 week 1

Hello!

This week has been amazing as always but also a little bit hard. There were definitley some up's and down's.

LUNES:

So we just had a normal, chill day here in Leganes. We just hung around the piso, and went shopping, ad then we went to the mall to write the ole family. The thing is that Monday was actually a national holiday, so even though the mall was open, only the restaurants were open, so we just sat outside the Apple store, and stole their "Gratis WIFI." So that was fun, then we just did some studies, and made some calls. It was pretty good.

MARTES:

So In the morning we did some studies, and then left and went and taught Elouisa! She is great. She reminds me a lot of my grandmothers. She is an older spanish lady, who is ust the cutest thing. She always makes us Cola-Cao which is just spanish hot choclate. It doesn't matter if its hot or cold, always cola-cao... I love it. She also has this black cat with super long hair named Wanda. She is a rascal. Mos of the time were there, Elouisa complains about the hair that wanda sheds, etc... It is really funny. So we taught her how to search for things in the scriptures, and how to use her Gospel Library App. She told us, "Well I am not going to learn how to do it today, but with lots of practice, I can!"  I agree. I mean, there are lots of hard things that we have to learn how to do, but if we try our hardest, and practice at it; the Lord will make up the rest. It's cool.

MIERCOLES:

Hermana Jarman is an aunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7lbs 3oz & 20 inches later, a small Chloe was born! She is super cute, but like all newborn's, looks like a little alien.

Then we had Disrict meeting in Parla. It was really awesome, and I learnd a lot about how important to have knowledge. Without knowledge we have no power. So the more that you know, the more you KHOL's... Wait...? The more power you have. Along with that, we talked a lot about our studies, and how we can make them more effective so that we can get more things done with the end of becoming knowledable, powerful teachers. Then after that we went to District Eat, and everybody ate pizza at Dominoes, but we brought salads and fruit.. #Contractskinny... So after district eat, we went and taught a family from the ward. Los del Amor. Their last name is literally, "Of Love." Cool right? Yeah so we went and presented the Family plan to them. They loved us! Then we went and taught our amiga Roxana.. I was a bomb lesson, and the spirit was sooooooo strong.

JUEVES:

Okay, so on Thursday not much happened. The best thing to happen this week happened though. Tender mercies. So as I have talked about a little bit before. We have been really making a push to work with, and earn the trust of our members. So we made a family plan to help the people of the ward have lots of ideas, and goals to share the gospel. So we have presented that, and it is and has gone over amazingly. So as a result, we are seeing lost more progress with member missionary work, etc. So to help the ward accomplish some other things, the missionaries, Elder Perez, Elder Tribett, Hermana Jarman and I have made a plan to have a missionary week in our ward. Okay, so what is a missionary week? Well it is going to be kind of like a youth conference but with just our ward. We have lots of youth, and young adults so we want to have them go on like a mini-mission. So they would get a mission call, which we would make. Then they would be assigned a companion, either older or younger. Then they will assigned a family to teach, and a lesson to teach them. We will have firesides, and trainings, and fun like activities during this week to help them plan what they should teach. During this week, not only will we be having trainings and activities to help the youth, but also the leaders of the ward. We will talk about ward council, and about how to share the gospel, and the ward mission plan. It will be awesome. Then to end the week, after all of the preparation the youth will go out as companionships, and will teach their families. Then afterwards we will have a big fireside where all of the members can invite their actual friends and all of them, including youth can include their experiences about their lessons, etc. It is going to be awesome.  So we planned that with Jenni, and Jeison, who are the yea leaders. Money.

VIERNES:

I was struck by sickness. Dairy from a member. He mad jus milkshakes and I couldn't say no, so the next day I was suffering the consequences.

SABADO:

I recovered, and we went and played futbol with the elders investigators. It was way fun! But, before then we did this super hard workout, and so I wasn't playing my hardest, because I was a little weak, but It was still fun. Then just studies, and planning, and then we went to visit Roxana out friend, and she wasn't home, so by the time we got back to the piso, the day was already over. But, the trip was a success because hermana Jarman met this super sweet guy, who gave her a hug, and brightened our day, even though we aren´t supposed to hug people, and I bought a super cute notebook from a Chino so.....  Worth it.

DOMINGO:

So we had church which was so tender. Mothers day is the week before it is in the states, so we celebrated, and all of the mujeres got roses! It was so cute. Then in the relief society, the primary came in a sang to us, and gave all of their moms letters that they wrote. I was weeping the whole time. It was terrible. Then we taught gospel principles which was way fun. We learned about the covenant people of the lord, and what that means. Way cool. Then, I was feeling super crappy so we went to the piso, and I went to sleep. My stomach has been super weird like this whole last week, so I'm not really sure whats wrong. Hopefully it will get better here pretty quick. It sucks to be sick.

Well, that was our week. I saw lots of miracles, and lots of heartbreaks but I won't go into those! I have learned a lot, but mostly that we can do nothing without the lord. It is his work, and we are just his tools. Love you all!! and I hope that you all give your mom's big hugs, and kisses, and buy her, her favorite flowers and tell her how awesome she is! Love ya
