Transfer 7 Week 4
Leganes

This week has been amazing as always. So much has happened, and is happening, and it's all going by so fast. I know that group emails have been a little lame lately but I will do better from no on. This week I have really felt the spirit. I mean being a missionary and testifiying of The Lord Jesus Chirst everyday definitely fill you with a undescribably sweet spirit, but I have even more than that this week. Now as I have studied about the spirit, I have found that, out of his many roles; Comforter, Witness of truth, Spirit of Promise, To bring things to ones Remeberance, Guide, That the one that I have experience the most on my mission and during my life is that of a divine teacher. He is the perfect teacher of truth. He has taught me many things. This week I was taught to trust in him. Anyhow, this week has been awesome and I am extremely grateful to be here in Leganes, and for my companion, HNA. Jarman..

LUNES:

So we did some stuff around home, like clean and eat and then nap a little. Then the elders and us played really intense spoon, crazy uno, and Egyptian rat screw. It was the most comptitive I have ever felt on my mission, and during my life. It was so fun to play (WIN) with the elders. So after that we had a lesson with some new amigos. So for a little background, hey are Jehovahs witnesses. They are super nice but a little wierd. I mean... I'm sure that is what people say about us but. Anyhow. So we had a nice lesson in english with them. The one girl, angela is from Romania but speaks english, and the other aday is fro Australia. So it was a little wierd to have to switch everything from spanish to english. No worries though, all is well.

MARTES:

Well we had a super great day planned, but then like a normal missionary life, everything fell thru. It worked out okay though because Hermana Jarman got gripe (spanish flu) (Basically just the regular flu, only with more spanish). So instead of having to call a bunch of people and tell them that we weren't going to be able to pass by because of the gripe, they did us the favor. #GRATEFULFORGRIPE... Okay... So just a side note. Madrid is starting to get hot. We don't have air conditioning so we leave the windows open all the time so that we at least get a breeze.  So sometimes at night, bugs like to fly in and hang out with us, just because we have really cool light fixtures. This night, we did just as we had many a night before. Got Robert (the fan) turned on, opened all of the windows and turned all but the essential lights off. As we were sitting ther hanging out, it started to grow late and so hermana jarman decided to go upstairs to wash her face, etc. So im just reading on the counch downstairs when all of the sudden I hear  blood curdling scream and running. The next thing I know, an out of breath hermana jarman with one braid undoe is pacing the floor downstairs. I asked her, " What happened, was there a cockroach or something?" She laughed and said," No..... It's something much worse."    We go upstairs armed for battle. I wind my way up the stairs when it attacks. A huge moth, the size of an eagle swoops down to carry me off, when I must up the courage of daniel, and throw the broom at it. I don't kill it at first, but merely stun it. I took my oppourtunity and go in for the kill. Hermana Jarman was left to tend to the carcass.  No, but seriously the moth was giant. I think the feed on all of the pan and cigarette smoke here and get giant. Thats the only explanation.

MIERCOLES:

Well as normal, we had District meeting... We talked about service and how it is one of the best things that we can do to share the gospel. So if y'all don't know, Spain and Europe is known for a lack of organized service projects. Its not like in the states where you can think of anything nd make it a service project and all. Like, for example: I suggested that we pick up trash off the streets as a sevice. Seems innocent enough until you find out that it requires every person participating to have a special licence to do it. I mean... Come on. A license. But, We made an amzing list of really good service projects to do, and although it may not be as easy as I'm used to, I am determied to serve. Then hermana jarman still had gripe so... We really didnt do much else.

JUEVES:

So we were going to have intercambios, but because of the gripe, and also the baptism that we had planned and were in charge of the next day, we had to move them. So we did weekly planning, and then did Leganes 101 with the elders to continue planning the rest of the stuff for the semana misional (Mission week).

VIERNES:

Still sick, but with lots of faith hermana jarman pushed thru the pain, and we went to the baptism. Okay, so actually we were at the capilla all day, waiting for the fon to fill up. So we watched 17 miralces while we waited, and did some more Leganes 101, and then plyed like 4 rounds of UNO.. I dominated. (Para que sepas) So the baptism was for this little boy named Alex in our ward. He is a little snake but is super cute. So the baptism was scheduled for 7p.m. but like ormal here in Espana, alex didnt show up until 8:15 so... But on the brightside, the snacks were amazing.

SABADO- DOMINGO:

Hermana Jarman was still sick so we just stayed in the piso all day long. It was boring, and we just played and watched lots of movies. Also, another moth got in... It was terrible.

LUNES:

Okay so because this week was our temple day, on monday we didn't have a p-day. We left our studies a little early to go teach this new lady called Daniela. She was super cool, and very open. She told us that she was looking for the truth, and had thought about how she had kind of fallen away from God. Just as she these thoughts crossed her mind, She missed her normal bus to wrk and was forced to take the metro. She sat down, and Hna Chriestensen started tot talk to her. She was an answer to prayers, and Daniela took that as a sign. Pretty cool...

MARTES:

Wll we had another district meeting, this time about the spirit, and how we can be more worthy of it, what it does and why it's important. It was way cool. I'm glad we brought our bibbs because we definitely got spiritually fed. Then we ate at burger king. So I had a oupon for 2 long chickens with fries and a drink. (Hope moms proud of me, ya know... for the coupon.) So I got it, and It was so much fod. The long chickens were just to long...  Okay, I'll stop now.

Anyhow, I love you guys so much, and I hope that you all hav amazing weeks, and I want to invite y'all to find something, someway to serve someone else this week. Whatever it is. Just do it (+ (Couldent find a check mark so.))

LOVEYOUBYE!!!
