Leganes- Hermana Jarman
Bonjour... (That's for Dayna)
So, this week has been money. Just amazing.... Well, I say week but these last few days have been awesome. We are teaching this really cool lady, or girl... Not sure when the age limit is for that. We are teaching this cool lady-girl named daniela. She is from ecuador and is super legit. So things are good on that front.
JUEVES:
So on jueves we basically just did Weekly planning, and a bit of Leganes 101.
VIERNES:
So we had intercabios but that morning I was sick. Like sick. But we went and the Lord & Tylenol helped me feel a little bit better. I was with Hermana Warner who is just the cutest girl you'll ever meet. First off, we went and ate with the Barrio 9 ward mission leader. The are bolivians, so the food was super good. So we went to Intstitue with the young adults. That was wierd... I mean cool, but it just made me remeber college, and all of the shennigans that I did with the old ward. Good times. Then we went and tried to teach some people but nobody was home. It was okay though bcause we went to a chino and I bought a coke. I love coke.
SABADO:
Intercambios, still. Then after that, we had studies, then we had some Leganes 101, and then just talked with some good people.
DOMINGO:
Okay so all of the planning turned out. We had church like normal but because it was fast and testimonies meeting. Then 3 hour, we had a joint meeting with all of the auxilaries. We had basically a fireside about reaching out. It was really good, and the spirit
Was really strong. This was my talk from the little fireside.
Siempre estaba haciendo bienes, y tratando de servir, compartir, or escuchar a alguien.
No mates. No hurtes. No digas falso testimonio. No defraudes. Honra a tu padre y a tu madre.

Was really strong. This was my little talk from the fireside.
I want to talk a bit about why we are here. I want you to think about the question asked Sister Jarman. Jesus awaits me?
Also, I want to hear some of the answer to the question of what are the most important things in their lives ...
Like many of you, the two most important things in my life are my personal relationship with God and my family ...
So He has given us everything we have. All things that make us happy. We have our families to make us happy, and to help us live the gospel. The gospel consists of the things that Jesus taught when he was on earth. Faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end ... I'm going to focus on this, enduring to the end.
Salvation and all the blessings of the Lord does not come only by baptized. Must receive all the blessings of the temple to meet the propositio of life and the divine designs of the Lord, that is enduring to the end. But that is about enduring to the end with the salvation plan? Well, Enduring to the end means: Remain steadfast in the commitment to be faithful to the commandments of God despite temptation, opposition or adversity.
Our duty in life is to do everything to follow Jesus and help our families and friends do too. We must be steadfast and loyal to the things we know, and help our families to do the same so that we can be sealed in the temple and receive all the blessings God has for us. Because that is the plan of salvation, the seal us with our family so we can live with them forever. The Lord wants us to become like but we must first do our best for our own, and then help others do it too. By doing this, we will come to be like Christ and fulfill the commandment to be like it is.
2 Nephi 31: 15-17
15 And I heard the voice of the Father, saying: Yea, the words of my Beloved are true and faithful. One who endures to the end shall be saved.
16 And now, my beloved brethren, I know by this that unless the peresevere man to the end, following the example of the Son of the living God, can not be saved.
17 Wherefore, do the things that I have said that I have seen that your Lord and Redeemer; because for this reason I have shown, that you know what is the door you should enter. For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water; and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Spirit.
Then, according to these scriptures, we must endure to the end, following the example of the Savior to be saved. How much can we do to help our neighbors before we can be saved. It is necessary for our salvation.
Which it is the example of the Savior? What was he doing in your life more than anything?
He served. He was always doing good and trying to serve, share, or listening to someone. The fully he taught us that must be our priorities when he said:
Luke 10: 25-27
25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and said, tempting him: Master, what must I do to inherit eternal life?
26 And he said unto him, What is written in the law? How do you read?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.
We must put the Lord first, and then our neighbors.
We are doing this? We are being Good Samaritans, even we have our own lives? Or forget our Lord's command to help our brothers with all our strength to receive all the blessings He has for them?
That's what Jesus expects of us. As the story of the rich young man. He was doing a lot of good things, but as I could.
Mark 10: 17-22
17 And when he went on his way, a man ran, and they bowed the knee before him, asked him, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
18 And Jesus said unto him, Why do you call me good? There is none good but one God.
19 Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery. Do not kill. Do not steal. Do not say false testimony. Do not defraud. Honor thy father and thy mother.
20 And he answering, he said: Master, all these have I kept from my youth.
21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him and said, You lack one thing: go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me cross.
22 But he, sad at that saying, went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
We are thus sometimes hard heart? It is hard to leave everything and take the Cross? We are doing what we can to come and follow him without thinking of the consequences? Without thinking about work, studies, family, etc? To follow him, and leave everything, God will reward us. As the Lord said:
Luke 12: 23-31
23 Life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!
25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 For if you can not do even what is least, why do you worry about the rest?
27 Consider the lilies, how they grow; neither they toil nor spin; but I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of them.
28 And if God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more you, O ye of little faith?
29 Ye shall therefore not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things people are looking for the world, but your Father knows that you need these things.
31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added.
Let us take the cross and follow him.
Let us all so that we can have the treasures of heaven and eternal life. It is not enough to do the minimum, but what we can to leave everything and follow Jesus Christ's example. We have to lend a hand to others and help them have the same blessings that we enjoy. Jesus expects us to love and do everything to help our neighbor.
I know you want to do everything, because they love the Savior. I know you have left many things to follow him, but he hopes to do more. To love more, and think more about their neighbors, their brothers. Few can do to rescue them from the darkness.
